High Protein Bang Bang Chicken Tenders
Crispy breaded chicken tenders coated with a high-protein bang bang sauce made with Greek yogurt
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken tenders
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup cornflakes
- 0.25 cup fit flour or oat flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- salt
- black pepper
- 0.5 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp light mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1 tsp Sriracha
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions
- Mix crushed cornflakes with fit flour or oat flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl
- Beat the large egg in another shallow bowl
- Dip each chicken tender in the beaten egg, then coat thoroughly with the cornflake mixture
- Air fry the coated chicken tenders until golden and cooked through (approximately 12-15 minutes at 400°F)
- While chicken cooks, prepare the bang bang sauce by combining non-fat Greek yogurt, light mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and honey in a bowl
- Mix sauce ingredients until smooth and well combined
- Serve the cooked chicken tenders with the bang bang sauce for dipping
