Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs goat meat
  • 1 teaspoon bouillon powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 3 plum tomatoes
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 habanero pepper
  • 0.5 onions
  • 1 teaspoon bouillon powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon curry
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the goat meat if not already cut.
  2. Put the meat in a pot and add water, salt, bouillon, and black pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil and simmer for 40-45 minutes until the goat meat is tender.
  4. Take the meat out of the pot and reserve the stock for the stew.
  5. Blend the tomatoes, bell pepper, and habanero pepper with just a little water.
  6. Sauté the chopped onion in olive oil on medium heat.
  7. Add the blended tomato and pepper mixture, curry, thyme, and bouillon to the onions.
  8. Add cayenne pepper if you want more heat.
  9. Simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat.
  10. Add the goat meat and stock, and stir together.
  11. Add a little more broth if needed until it has a stew-like consistency.
  12. Taste for salt before adding any since the stock already contains salt.
  13. Cover and let simmer for 10 minutes on medium-low heat.
