  • 500 grams beef tenderloin or sirloin or flank steak
  • 0.25 cup cornflour
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • oil
  • 0.25 cup chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 0.5 tablespoon red chili flakes
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 0.5 tablespoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 6 whole dried red chili
  • 1 large stalk green onions

Instructions

  1. Prepare fried beef by coating beef pieces with cornflour and soy sauce, then fry in oil until cooked
  2. Prepare Mongolian sauce by combining chicken stock, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, red chili flakes, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and dried red chili, then toss with fried beef and garnish with green onions
