  • 1.5 tsp dried mint
  • 1 cup water or chicken stock

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Grate the onion and squeeze out any excess liquid. Add to the ground beef.

  6. Place in a well oiled baking dish.
  7. Drizzle the top with more olive oil.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven set to 375°F (use convection setting if available) for 30 minutes or until top looks crispy.
  9. While baking, prepare yogurt sauce by mixing yogurt, crushed garlic, and salt.
  10. Prepare tomato sauce by mixing olive oil, tomato paste, pepper paste, salt, dried mint, and water or chicken stock.
  11. Serve mantes with the tomato sauce or dip into the garlicky yogurt.
