Slow-Cooker Honey Garlic Beef Tips
Get ready for the ultimate set-it-and-forget-it comfort food. Tender cubes of beef chuck roast are slow-simmered in a sticky, sweet, and savory garlic-herb glaze that pools beautifully over a colorful bed of seasoned wild rice and garden vegetables.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef chuck roast
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 0.33 cup honey
- 0.25 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- salt
- black pepper
- garlic powder
Instructions
- Place the cubed beef, chopped onions, and minced garlic into your slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the mixture directly over the beef tips and toss to coat.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours (or HIGH for 3-4 hours) until the beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender.
- 20 minutes before serving, whisk in your cornstarch slurry. Turn the crockpot to high and let the gravy bubble and thicken into a rich, glossy glaze.
- Spoon the beef and sauce over a hot bed of wild rice and vegetables.
