Soup Dumpling Lasagne
A creative fusion dish that layers minced meat with dumpling wrappers in a ramekin, steamed to create a unique take on soup dumplings. This easy Asian-inspired recipe combines traditional dumpling flavors with a lasagne-style presentation, topped with crispy chilli oil for extra flavor and heat.
Ingredients
- 170 g minced meat
- 3 stalks spring onion
- ginger
- 1 clove garlic
- dumpling wrappers
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp water
- pepper
- crispy chilli oil
Instructions
- Combine the minced meat, mirin, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and water with the finely chopped spring onion and grated garlic and ginger.
- Stir the mixture well to combine.
- Fill a heat-safe ramekin by alternating between the meat mixture and 2 dumpling wrappers for each layer.
- Place the ramekin in a steamer or shallow water bath.
- Steam for at least 20 minutes.
- Remove and let rest before serving.
- Top with crispy chilli oil and green onion to garnish.
