Soft and Fluffy Garlic Cheese Bread
These irresistibly soft and fluffy garlic cheese bread rolls are a showstopper that's easier to make than you'd think. Ingredients
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2.25 tsp yeast
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2.5 cups flour
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp parsley
- shredded cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for about 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of the flour with the salt.
- Pour in the yeast mixture, stir, then cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
- Add the remaining flour and oil, mix until a dough forms.
- Knead for about 10 minutes, until smooth.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll into balls.
- Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
- Roll each dough ball into a flat, circular shape.
- Mix together the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Brush the butter mixture over each piece of dough, then top with shredded cheese as desired.
- Bake at 425°F for 10–12 minutes, or until golden.
