Smash Dumplings
These crispy smash dumplings feature a flavorful beef and vegetable filling inspired by gyoza, cooked using a smash burger technique to create a golden, crunchy crust. Served with fresh shredded vegetables, teriyaki sauce, and crispy chilli oil for an irresistible appetizer or snack.
Ingredients
- 200 g minced beef
- 4 green onion
- 0.5 cup cabbage or pak choy
- 1 ginger
- garlic

- 1 tbsp mirin or shaoxing rice wine
- 1 tbsp itsu teriyaki sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- pepper
- frozen dumpling wrappers

Instructions

- Spoon 1.5 tbsp of the mixture onto defrosted dumpling wrappers and firmly spread up to the perimeter of the dough.
- Grill on medium high heat for 5-7 minutes or until it develops a brown crust, pressing firmly like a smash burger patty.
- Flip and finish on other side for 2 minutes.
- Serve with fresh shredded vegetables, extra drizzle of teriyaki, and crispy chilli oil.
