Jalapeño Chicken Wings

Crispy wings tossed in a bold jalapeño sauce with the perfect balance of heat, sweetness, and tang!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 jalapeños
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat wings dry. Toss with baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 45–50 minutes or air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 25–28 minutes until crispy.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add jalapeños and garlic, sauté 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened, about 1–2 minutes.
  6. Toss cooked wings in the jalapeño sauce until well coated. Serve hot and enjoy!
