Jalapeño Chicken Wings
Crispy wings tossed in a bold jalapeño sauce with the perfect balance of heat, sweetness, and tang!
Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken wings
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 4 jalapeños
- 3 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 0.25 cup honey
- 0.25 cup brown sugar
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Pat wings dry. Toss with baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 45–50 minutes or air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 25–28 minutes until crispy.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add jalapeños and garlic, sauté 2–3 minutes.
- Add honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened, about 1–2 minutes.
- Toss cooked wings in the jalapeño sauce until well coated. Serve hot and enjoy!
