Zesty & Creamy Jalapeño-Lime Sauce
A bright, tangy, and spicy creamy sauce made with fresh jalapeños, cilantro, and lime juice. Perfect as a dip, drizzle, or condiment.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Mexican crema or sour cream
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 3.5 fresh jalapeños
- 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 0.25 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Seed and chop 3-4 fresh jalapeños and set aside.
- Add the Mexican crema (or sour cream), mayonnaise, chopped jalapeños, fresh cilantro leaves, minced garlic, and fresh lime juice to a blender or food processor.
- Blend all ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
- Season with black pepper and kosher salt to taste, then blend briefly to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning or lime juice as desired.
- Transfer to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
