Chinese Egg Drop Soup

- Cilantro

- 2.000 Chicken eggs
- 1.000 tsp Chicken broth powder
- 2.000 tsp Salt
- 1.000 tsp Sugar
- 1.000 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 1.000 tsp White ground pepper
- 1.000 tsp Sesame oil
- 100.000 ml Cold water
- 3.000 tbsp Cornstarch
Instructions
- Bring 2 liters of water to a boil in a large pot.
- Add chicken broth powder, salt, sugar, light soy sauce, and white ground pepper to the boiling water.
- Mix cold water with cornstarch to create a slurry for the thickener.
- Slowly pour the cornstarch slurry into the boiling broth while stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Continue stirring until the soup thickens to desired consistency.
- Slowly drizzle the beaten eggs into the simmering soup while stirring gently to create egg ribbons.
- Drizzle sesame oil into the soup and stir to combine.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt as needed.
- Pour the soup into bowls and garnish with fresh cilantro and chopped green onions.
