Ingredients

  • 4.000 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1.000 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 0.500 cup hot sauce
  • 0.250 cup honey
  • 2.000 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2.000 cloves garlic
  • 1.000 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 0.500 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1.000 tablespoon cornstarch
  • fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, whisk together the hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, and cornstarch in a small bowl until smooth.
  4. Once the chicken is seared, pour the volcano sauce over the chicken, making sure to coat each piece evenly.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve immediately.
