- 500 g boneless chicken thighs
- 0.5 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

- 4 cloves garlic
- 0.25 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 0.5 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoon water
- 2 green onions
- sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Dip each piece into the beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly with cornstarch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken in batches for 4–5 minutes until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In another pan, sauté minced garlic over medium heat for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Pour in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens into a glossy consistency.
- Add the crispy chicken to the sauce and toss quickly to coat every piece evenly.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles.
