Homemade Tajín Seasoning Chicken Tacos
A flavorful and easy recipe using homemade Tajín seasoning to add a twist to traditional chicken tacos.
Ingredients
- 1.25 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 teaspoons Homemade Tajín seasoning (see below for recipe)
- 0.5 cup Lime juice
- 1 cup Cilantro
- 8 corn Tortillas
- 1 cup Shredded cheese (Monterey Jack or Cheddar)
- 1 cup Sliced radishes
- 1 cup Diced tomatoes
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the homemade Tajín seasoning and lime juice. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat a couple of tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Warm the tortillas by wrapping them in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 20-30 seconds.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a spoonful of the chicken onto a warmed tortilla, followed by a sprinkle of cilantro, a squeeze of lime juice, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese. Serve immediately.
