Adana Kebab
A beloved Turkish grilled kebab that combines seasoned ground beef with fresh vegetables and aromatic spices, creating a flavorful and juicy dish. Cookingtales11's version uses an air fryer for convenience while maintaining the authentic taste and texture of this classic Ramadan favorite. Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 red capsicum
- 0.5 onion
- 1 jalapeño
- 5.5 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp chilli flakes
- 0.5 tbsp black pepper
- 0.5 tbsp cumin powder
- 0.5 tbsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Put capsicum, onion, jalapeño, and garlic in a chopper and chop finely.
- Transfer the chopped mixture to a colander and squeeze out all excess water.
- Add the drained vegetable mixture to the beef mince.
- Add chilli flakes, black pepper, cumin powder, paprika powder, and salt to the mixture.
- Knead well for 10 minutes until the mixture becomes sticky and well combined.
- Cover and keep in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Wrap aluminum foil around chopsticks or skewers.
- Take a ball of mixture and shape it on the skewer like a seekh kebab.
- Preheat air fryer on grill mode.
- Cook kebabs at 205°C for about 12–15 minutes, turning after 6–7 minutes.
- Serve hot with naan or bread.
