Seafood Blend Shrimp Bisque

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups dry white wine
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic
  • 2 celery
  • 1 pounds shrimp
  • 0.5 cups crab meat
  • 0.5 cups lobster meat
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 fresh parsley
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup cashew cream

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped celery. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add dry white wine, bay leaf, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add shrimp, crab meat, and lobster meat. Cook until the seafood is opaque and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in flour to thicken the bisque. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream and cashew cream. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
