Seafood Blend Shrimp Bisque
Rich and creamy bisque with succulent shrimp, crab, and lobster, finished with a hint of lemon and parsley.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups dry white wine
- 2 bay leaf
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic
- 2 celery
- 1 pounds shrimp
- 0.5 cups crab meat
- 0.5 cups lobster meat
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 fresh parsley
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 cup cashew cream
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, and chopped celery. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add dry white wine, bay leaf, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Add shrimp, crab meat, and lobster meat. Cook until the seafood is opaque and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in flour to thicken the bisque. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and cashew cream. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
